The Broadcast Communication Authority (BCA), a Chartered Student Organization is recruiting candidates for the General Manager Positions at both KTUH 90.3 and student video group: UH Productions.
Becoming a part of student broadcast media on campus is not only a great way to get involved, it’s also an excellent opportunity to boost your resume while gaining leadership and management skills. You will also have a chance to meet new people while working directly to shape student media for the future and receive a monthly stipend.
The General Manager of KTUH, 90.3 FM College Radio is responsible for the daily aspects of the operation, administration and management of KTUH, the student-run radio station of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. The General Manager is directly in-charge of the college radio station programming, operations, goal-setting, and working with its governing board the BCA. Applicants must be available for a minimum of two hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week and have prior experience in radio.
The General Manager of UH Productions is expected to be open and available, communicate with its members and the BCA on a regular basis, have a positive and motivated attitude, be able to work independently but also as a team member and be willing to collaborate with other media organizations and groups on campus. Applicants must be available for a minimum of two hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week and have prior experience in video production.
